This particular success story occurred the summer of 2014 – a particularly hot summer for real estate in Chicago. Listings were flying off the market and Tommy had a client looking for a very specific place to call home.
One Tuesday morning, the perfect listing came onto the market and Tommy knew that his client had to see it that day. With his client stuck in the office and unable to break away to visit the property at all that day, Tommy decided to visit the property himself.
While at the property, Tommy whipped out his smartphone and began streaming the walkthrough to his client in real time. Though his client was stuck in the office, this quick lunch break virtual showing allowed Tommy to show his client exactly what he cared to see while answering his questions at the same time.
What was the conclusion? This quick lunch time tour showed Tommy’s client what he cared most to see in the property and was enough to produce two thumbs up which aided in an expedited speed to close in a market that demanded speed.
